3 Trees Stand Located on the T-Plot which was enlarged in 2007. Until this year archery hunting was only done from the Red Oak Stand which had little concealment. 3 Trees is located on the northern edge of the plot in the center of 3 trees. The stand itself is in a water oak which holds its leaves the longest. There is great cover in the background until late season.
Observation: This stand faces the sun in the evenings. In order to face away you would need to shoot left handed. Thought needs to be put into placing the stand on the west side of the plot. There are several trees available but no water oaks. Cover will be lost by mid November.

T-Plot Stand Located on the T-Plot but moved to the western side of the plot to avoid the sun in the afternoon. A feeder was placed in the plot in the spring to attract the deer but before the season it was moved out of archery range and tied to the Red oak in the middle of the plot so the hogs cannot trun it over.
Observation: This stand does not face the sun in the evenings. There are no water oaks on that side of the plot so the leaves will be lost by the end of November. I am making an attempt to use fence wire to hold branches near the stand in attempt to conceal it in late season.

2010 pictures of the T-Plot Stand: The stand is in the tree we call the shaking tree. Every now and then the tree just shakes like something big hit it. I am not the only one that felt it. In 2008 and 8 point was taken from this stand. since then I placed the feeder closer to the stand but you cannot shoot deer at the feeder, there is a water oak in the way. This will give time to draw your bow when the deer move away or when the deer is approaching the feeder.
