Trader Park is named because of the name on most maps. I don't know why that area of the land was named that. The stand is located on a hill about 100 yards behind the camp. The stand is between Grand Canyon and Boogieman Bottom. This area has been seldom hunted and only once by archery. In the summer of 2007 I had the top of a finger of a ridge cleaned off to put a small plot. I have no intentions of planting it in 2007 but I will use it as a feed station. Trailcam usage is very high with a lot of buck presence. If successful on this stand hunts will have to be made prior to doing a lot of road travel. The stand is located on the road.

Trader Park StandI put two pictures together to make a scene from the Trader Park Stand. I decided not to plant this little plot and just use it as a feed station in early season and maybe again in late season. This is where most of the buck pictures have come from. I haven't measured it yet but to the end of the little plot is between 30 & 35 yards. This is me in the stand. Of course I won't be wearing blue jeans while hunting but the picture is taken from one of the aproaches the deer may take which is down the road. The other aproach is straight to my right which I presume is the primary approach the deer will take. It is a small funnel between the neighbors yard and my road.
