"Radar" Kill # 14 Bow Kill # 4 Mature Doe killed at "My Brothers' Place", Tunica, LA 2007 not sure of the date. 4-Trees Stand Weapon: Compound Bow (Hoyt Vectrix) Radar was a doe with twin fans that visited the W-Plot nearly every afternoon in the early season. She was a smart one, and able to pick up the slightest movement. I waiteduntil late in the season to take a shot at her but she would pick up my movement any time I would try to draw my bow. Once she had her head behind the feeder and caught me trying to draw with what I thought was no possibility of her seeing me....Thus the name "Radar" I finally got my shot when she had her head down behind some briars next to a persimmon tree. It was a quartering to me shot and I placed the arrow pretty good. I got a complete pass through. She ran toward Dr. McGaw's and I was able to follow her for about 80 yards then the blood ran out. Kevin, Scott Pitman and I looked for her for quite a while before giving up. We only had a general direction in which to head. We walked right by her several times but did not see her. The next morning she had been messed up by coyotes and vultures. It was not a cool night. No pictures are available.
