8/6/10
Friday I had to babysit until 5:30pm. Drove to the camp afterward and just relaxed. Although daylight, I didn't want to go to the back this late and disturb the deer. There was a deer standing next to the camp when I arrived.
8/7/10
Aug. 7, I drove into town to get some corn for the feeders, rat poison and Deepwoods Off. I pulled TC pics and filled the feeders. Plenty hog sign and still sort of dry although it rained since The last time here. No bucks at buck point, one unID'd buck at 4 trees, and the big guy at the T-Plot. Several pics of hogs. I walkeddown the road a little and saw a doe about 60 yards ahead of me. I tried doing a little head bobbing interaction but she just watched. I stayed away from the back in the late afternoon.

Aug. 8, After spending the night at the camp, I pull the TC pics and batied up again. I moved the Buck Point Camera to the E-Plot feeder. I have been getting plenty of does there but the buck visits have deminished. By placing it at the E-Plot feeder I will see what is coming out into the plot during day light hours. This will help me choose where I am going to hunt. So far everything looks like it will be the T-Plot if the 11 point keeps coming out.
I have renamed the 11 point "Soggy Bottom Boy" after the bow hunting team I have been on for the last 3 years. I haven't been drafted here yet and don't expect to be drafted until round 3 or 4 because of all the killers that have signed up here. Anyway, his 11th point is right at an inch now and he is still growing. Probably in the low 120's he is big enough for me to call a trophy. He is invited to dinner on October 1st this year.
It was a good three days at the camp and I got a little work accomplished. Cleaning the inside and spraying weeds around the outside of the camp. Plenty more to do.
