This is Austin's second shot with a center fire rifle. The first took about 5 minutes to line up. Both shots were about 1" low at 20 yards from the dead center bullseye (A piece of orange tape). He wanted to shoot more but I could tell he felt this shot and didn't want to press things. If it hurt him he wouldn't admit it. After the shot we went to the box stand to wait on hogs. They were unlikely to come but there is always a chance. If deer showed up I was going to let him dry fire at the deer to give him practice at what he will be doing next November.
