The story of Little Big Man (LBM) starts two years ago. On December 28, 2004 I saw a fawn near the ground blind on the T-Plot. I got a picture of him on my trailcam at 9:46 pm that night.
I saw him again on January 2, 2005 on the T-Plot. Noone else saw him again that season. However I started leaving my trailcams out year round. The only month I have not had pictures of him was January of 2005.
On June 17, 2005 I saw "Blade" and "Little Big Man" on the West Plot near the Lone oak tree. I watched them for about 10 minutes before backing off so I wouldn't disturb them. I saw LBM on the West Plot again on July 16th.
On October 7th at 7 am I let him walk at the Black Locust Stand. He stayed about 18 minutes until we heard a buck grunt in the middle bottom and he ran off to go that direction. I assume it was "Blade".
On October 21st just before dark I let him walk again at the Black Locust Stand. He came just before dark and stayed about 20 minutes.
On October 25th at 6:30 pm Kevin let him walk at the Black Locust Stand.
On November 3rd I let him walk again in the evening hunt.
On November 9th at 5:50 pm I let him walk on the T-Plot. He came out at 5:50 pm and stayed until way after dark. I took pictures of him with the flash camera and this did not disturb him. I finally threw my water bottle near his rump to scare him. He ran about 20 yards, turned around to look, then wondered off.
On November 10th at 6:15 am I let him walk at South Fork. He stopped shortly to feed in front of the stand and then went east. He was followed by another 5 point that we named "Jumpy".
On November 20th I let both he and Jumpy walk at the T-Plot. "Jumpy" and "LBM" came out the RR trail and Jumpy went straight to West Plot. I had shot a rabbit earlier in the morning and it was still stuck to the ground with the arrow in it when LBM came over to smell it. He got nervous and left.
On November 23rd I let him walk again I was on the Loan Oak Stand and he was on the T-Plot.
On December 2nd I let him walk twice at the X-Over on a morning hunt. He came from South Fork down X-Over and into Little Woods. Then later came out Little Woods and went back.
On December 3rd Eddie let him walk on the West Plot while hunting the Lone Oak.
On December 29th Paul let him walk in the morning at the Crows Foot at 7:15 pm.
On January 27th in the evening I let him walk after drawing the bow from the Lone Oak Stand. He had 3 points now becasue he broke one of his beams.
